Dr. Ziyar is a good doctor and very skilled. He doesn't waste time with menial issues and tries to get to the root cause of any issues Im facing so we can deal with them, not just passing time to bill me, which I appreciate.
STOP, and investigate your insurance (overly charged)! Dr. Ziyar, is all about the money. I had an appointment with him,"myself only"!He wanted to charge my insurance three times. (For my appointment)!! I was very upset, I felt like he was taking advantage of my insurance, which they pay him very good! He didn't care if that bothered me, I felt like he didnt care for why I was there! Hes having MONEY ISSUES!!

Do you know several different services can be provided in the same visit. for example providing psychotherapy, medication management and so on and the time spend during session, may seems to some one like you if the insurance was charged several time, in fact it is itemization of services provided during the same day. If a surgeon perform Cholecystectomy, and meanwhile perform appendectomy, it will appear like insurance was charged twice on the same surgical operation. STOP did you undersand.
I have very long lasting mental condition, Dr. ziyar helped me a lot to overcome that, his staff is very kind and acomodating schedule base on my needs.
Dr. Ziyar is very kind and patient. The staff, while kind, is incompetent and difficult to work with. If I could do it over again I would go elsewhere.
Hes been very patient dealing with my son over the years....and anyone who has a loved one getting treatment for addiction knows that is no easy task and almost NEVER goes according to plan. He could have turned him away on several occasions, but when my son needed him most he was always there. He's not trying to squeeze every penny out of him and his family either which is also very common with that type of treatment. Im pleased to say my son is doing very well right now thanks to his help.
Great doctor that got to the point in treatment of my condition.
Very poor on keeping on time of appointments. Always has a turn over in his front office. I have made to pay cash twice as the doctor kept saying he did not take my insurance but he is on the list for Anthem a Blue Cross as a contracted provider. His receptionist has no knowledge of insurance or billing- not her fault, but whichever billing service he is using is misinforming him.
