All my girls have had Dr Lasser since they were born. I have always loved and respected him. Sadly, when my daughter went to him pregnant, he strongly advised her to get the Covid vax. I was shocked as he and Ellen always preferred a holistic approach. Now that the vax has been proven to cause death, stroke, heart conditions, sterility, etc., he has not changed his position on the Covid vaccine. So sad… we will never go to him again. I miss the wonderful doctor who helped me raise my girls.
Both my kids have had Dr Lasser since they were born. He is absolutely exactly what I want from my kids' physician, except for the allergy stuff which is a little out there for me. Everything else, though, I trust him entirely. He isn't prone to over-diagnosing or hysteria, but when he says we need to take action on this or the other, I never doubt. His office staff is friendly and helpful. Since NY Presbyterian absorbed them the character of the office itself has become much less warm and friendly, but the staff are all the... read more
Dr . Lasser is my children and grandchildren’s pediatrician. He is a very competent doctor and I rate him a ten. He has never been wrong with his diagnosis and treatment with my children and grandchildren. Lydia Cuevo
On the few occasions we’ve seen Dr Lasser he’s been great. Very thorough. Takes time to answer questions. Obviously very compassionate about what he does. His office staff, on the other hand, is borderline incompetent. Expect to play phone tag for 2 weeks to make a routine appointment.. Don’t bother trying to make an appointment with the online patient portal because they’ll call you after hours on Saturday to cancel and make you wait until Monday before you can reach them. All around a huge has
He can be very impatient, and seems frustrated by having to listen to the patient.
He is VERY NICE & FRIENDLY when you need him he is up to the task.1#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (P.S. this was written by my 7 y.o. son)
We loved Dr. Lasser, but then our insurance changed and had to go elsewhere. We miss him. Dr. Lasser was our pediatrician for over 17 years and we hold him in the highest regard. Dr. Lasser's diagnoses were spot on and his approach was always cautious and appropriate. He always sought to treat using the least amount of medications necessary unless an aggressive approach was warranted, and in both the short and long run that is always what is best for the body. Our children miss him.
The most thorough doctor I have ever met who is highly intelligent and takes his years of knowledge into practice. He spends a great amount of time with patients. I trust him more than any other doctor my family goes to.
Staff is fine. Doctor Lasser misdiagnosed my child - mono! Walked into the room and said he had poison ivy - said it flies through the air and that's why the face is red and swollen. I took my child home and things just got worse. Had to visit emergency room where mono was diagnosed.
