if you love your pet take him somewhere else. I'll never take another pet there. Lost one pet and another was mishandled.

Never again If you are reading the good reviews, just know that they were written by the manager of the facility to make this place look better. I will never take a pet to this facility. The primary veterinarian is not wanting to help out pets, he just wants the money. They are overly priced for the care that is provided by the clinical staff and veterinarians. I will drive 100 miles to go somewhere else.

Making a buck off of a bad situation Lansing urgent care is the last place to take your pet. If something is wrong, even if you know the problem they will tell you it is going to be between $500 and $700 or more. I have had this happen to me three times. At least by the third time I knew I was being taken. I had a cat that is diebet was given a over dose of insulin by accident. I knew all that needed to be done was check it blood sugar and give it some glucose if needed. They told me it would be between $500 and $700. I foun... read more

A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! 5/31/2010- I am disgusted with this clinic. My 5 year old, ordinarily VERY healthy dog suddenly became ill, so I took her to my personal vet. After a day of treatment, the vet felt that the labs and xrays she had did not provide enough information to pinpoint the exact problem (plus my dog is huge and was not ambulatory, so that is a huge treatment challenge with a holiday weekend and limited staff). The dog was starting to struggle, so my vet recommended that I take my dog to this med center for fu... read more

AVOID this place!!!!! I wish I had read these reviews before taking our German Shepherd to this place! We could still feel a puppy in our dog after she had already given birth to 6 and she was no longer contracting. Thus, we were hoping that the doctor could just give her a simple injection to push her contractions along. After waiting more than 40 minutes (even though I had called and the doctor suggested I come in right now with her) the doctor took x-rays of her, told us that she still had 4 puppies in her, and he immedia... read more

We Need The Money Now!!!!!!!! I would never put my dog's life in the hands of anybody at LVMC ever again! I took my 1 1/2 yr old weimaraner to this place last night because it was after hour's his back leg's just suddenly quit working, they gave him a physical exam or so they call it. Did not take his temp or heart rate just looked at him and felt and pushed on him. Them the vet,or vet tech whoever she was she didn't introduce herself guessed at what might be wrong. After leaving the exam room for about an hour she came back... read more

Believe the negative reviews! Simply put, they take advantage of the situation. I took my dog in for stitches and was told it would cost approximately between $680 and 750.00. $750 for stitches??? I knew this was insane because this wasn't the first ER visit for my pup (he's a little accident prone), so I paid the $89.00 penalty for the "exam", which basically consisted of taking his temperature, and went to the emergency clinic at the neighboring University to the east. I am so glad I decided to leave - The doctors there we... read more

Playing on emotions for bigger vet bill I would not take my dog here ever again. Not only do you pay a fortune but they try and get every last dime out of you even if treatment isn't really necessary. Now being a more seasoned dog owner I would rather drive an hour to another place where I know they care about the animals and not about how big the bill will be.

Focused more on money than your pet. I was just there on 8/7/10 with my grandpa and his dog who is 9yrs old. The only thing they did in the room was take her temp. and they they took her to another room to examine her, when they brought her back I asked why the need to take her to another room and they told me they found that animals behave better when their owners are not in the same room. When the vet finally came in to talk to us she proceeded to tell us that they recommend that we take my grandfathers dog to a K-9 cariol... read more
