Beware... I took my dog here in the early morning hours because she was panting heavily and it was constant. The vet took x-rays, and did blood work (only because I asked her to) and was told my dog's white blood cells were high. The vet spoke to me about doing a procedure to look in my dog's throat (related to the panting) and that it would require sedation. I said no. I took my dog home and then went to my vet as soon as they opened that morning. MY vet told me the panting was a sign of pain and the elevated white blood ce... read more

It's now about MONEY..not care. Before they located to this spot on Jolly they were on Logan St and I used them frequently and praised them to everyone. As soon as they moved to this much more expensive location,I have been astounded by the fees they charge and how little they care about your animals.I have been there only once and because of their excessive fees I felt I had no option but to put my dog down.I was there for 12 mins and it cost me over $400.I will NEVER go there again and I intend to make sure everyone I know ... read more

More than unsatisfied; financially got screwed I'm sorry I took my dog there. Several prescriptions and a few hundred dollars later, nothing has changed. Except now they want to prescribe a few more prescriptions that are even more expensive.

Okay if you don't have another choice. Our dog got caught on a stick and ripped a big hole in her side. We got her there at 3pm and they had a couple other emergencies in already, they told us they'd get to her as soon as they could. At 9pm they still hadn't gotten to her; we asked what the delay was, and apparently after the other emergencies, they had taken all their regular appointments instead of tending to her. Turns out, she had several inches of stick still lodged in her side, and laid on it for 6 hours because appare... read more

Saved my puppy's life I took my new puppy here after an accident with another dog. The staff at LVMC were excellent and I know I have them to thank for saving my dog's life. They gave us a very detailed, but pricey estimate of what it would cost to save my dog. When you have a pet emergency, you have to expect to pay a higher price with no insurance...the same as a person. However, they also gave us a few different options of how to pay for the cost which was very helpful. Given the circumstances, they were VERY fairly price... read more

This is Urgent Care My golden retriever has had 2 seizures and both times I've' had to drive her from Jackson to the Urgent Care. Both times the staff were very caring and explained what had happened and what needed to be done or not done. Morgan was almost eager to get there knowing she was going to get help. This is like the equivalent-of a human emergency room. So Yes you will spend a little more but wouldn't you spend that on your child?

best care ever The doctors and entire staff absolutely impressed me with their professionalism in terms of kindness and knowledge base. I felt as though they provided my loved ones; Popeye & Lola with the best possible care for a reasonable fee. To clinicians & administrative staff of this facility...It is my pleasure and I won't take my little ones anywhere else. Thank you very much. Judith Bozzo

Outstanding diagnostic skills Highly Recommend, great alternative to MSU, Picked up on a misdiagnosis by another so called Emerg vet. Staff fantastic, truly an Emergency Vet, Open 24hours, easy to get to. cost is average for E vets, it does pay to have pet insurance for thes emergency visits
