One star is all this hospital is worth, and it's only the good nurses they have on staff that helped bring it up to a one star. My husband went in for a kidney autotransplant in March with Dr Ashesh Shah. When that failed and the kidney officially died 4 days later, he had to have it removed. The surgeon had his concerns about it's viability even before he left the OR, but my husband had to endure 5 days of excruciating pain until they finally removed the kidney. I've been going to Lankenau Hospital for some time now for pain Mgnt. Every time I've been has been a great experience. I am a patient of Greater Philadelphia Spine and Pain with Dr. Jalali. He and his staff are polite, professional and comforting. The surgical staff is wonderful. They are helpful, caring and compassionate. My pain was managed well and I didn't feel rushed to leave.
