I live in Oxford and travelled to Birmingham for a follow up Dr. appointment on 10/4 and decided to take the Leeds exit and stumbled upon this excellent place on our way home. My wife and I talked about it for the next 20 minutes after we left. Service was fine and the breakfast we had was phenomenal. Homemade biscuits were out of this world.
We eat at Laney's often. Only a few times did we have complaints about food, however we never say anything. We understand sometimes new cooks or people calling in make things in the kitchen go wrong. 9 out of 10 visits the food is great, and service is always wonderful. We love Laney's. It is our favorite place to take the grand babies.
Haven't been to Laneys in years. So glad we went today. Food was outstanding !
What a great throwback to the good ole days. Great family friendly atmosphere and full of southern charm. We need more places like this in America again. The buffet was clean, the food was like grandmaw would make. Nice little Sunday drive find!

Not impressed at all, the food was dry and without flavor...the onion rings were like eating crunchy air...meatloaf was dry, hush puppies tasted old, just completely disappointed ... $47 and some change for 4 of us to eat...
Never open. The one time I did catch them open they only had a buffet and it looked like it was sitting there for hours.

Our hours are 5 am to 2:30 Sunday through Friday. Saturday 5 am to 11 am. The lunch buffet is ready and out from 11 am till 2:30.
