My family loves Laneys. I took my Aunts & Mom there today and they enjoyed it.
The variety of well prepared traditional southern dishes is awesome. The buffet is reasonably priced and the staff makes you feel welcome. It is a very comfortable and tasty dining experience. The blackberry cobbler alone would lure me back!

I am very sorry to hear about your visit to Laney's. We do have central air, but it went out the weekend you visited. We have since had it fixed. I wish we could allow people to take food home with them. Unfortunately , our cost has to be considered. We can not afford to feed people lunch and dinner for such a low price. I am not sure if any "all you can eat" buffets allow you to take left overs home. We do have signs posted that say " please take only what you can eat, no to go boxes given".
We went to Laney's almost everyday when they were opened in the afternoon. I think they should open when the time changes and they have more day lite. We still go and get take out. Going for Mothers Day.
Just like my moms home cooking.
