The staff was rude and unhelpful. I made my reservation online, through my Avis profile, and confirmed the reservation through the Avis phone line. They confirmed my reservation, and that I would be paying with a VISA debit card. It was fine, as long as I had the balance and deposit amounts on my debit card. When I got to this location, the staff rejected my debit card, saying that it is not a major bank debit card. What constitutes a major bank? A credit union, a savings and loan, an online bank ?
