I lived in New Orleans for over two years! Had the Gumbo and Crawfish Étouffée last night. Very close to perfect Nu'Awlins taste! Generous portions with great service and atmosphere!
The first red flag should have been the almost empty parking lot when we arrived. After being seated we were served quickly. The appetizer, oysters Rockefeller, was ok but nothing outstanding. For my entre I ordered the Caribbean red snapper and my husband ordered the Chilean sea bass with Bianca topping. Our orders finally arrived. My dish was was pretty bad. Thursday 27 July 2017 Leila was a wonderful and attentive waitress. I was in house for the AYCE King Crab and was not disappointed. Service was not slow and reorders were timed perfectly thanks to Leila' s impeccable service. Drinks were properly prepared and tasty. My go to for a little bit of heaven on a Thursday night.
1st time at Landry'and over all I was impressed. Thought $75 for all you could eat crab was a bit overkill considering the crab legs were spit open and the meat was extremely dry. On the upside, the manager had our amazing server bring us full legs, which were much better. Steak was amazing and service was fantastic.
Given the level of restaurant this was suppose to be the food and service did not deliver. The waitress took forever to come to the table. She forgot drinks, the food was bland and menu lacked creativity. The salad was awesome house salad dressing definitely recommended and the variety of fish was nice.
