BEWARE! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM (LANDMARK PROPERTIES). Landmark Properties have been negligent in taking care of their properties and letting their cost-cutting measures ENDANGER residents. If I could give ZERO stars I would! I just learned that they charge students a 6 MONTH BREAKAGE FEE! My niece hasn't even moved into the building yet! 2+ months until her lease starts and they want a 60 day notice which is standard, BUT, they are requiring her to pay 6 MONTHS RENT to back out of the lease!!!!???? I used to live at The One apartments in Miami and it was frustrating from day one. Paperwork took forever to assemble and execute, leases setup to take advantage of students, properties are extremely dirty, my deposit refund took over 1.5 months to issue (it was only issued after my persistence, but once I got a hold of the proper person, it was expedited properly [hence the extra star]), management hard to get a hold of, no one answers the phones, responds to emails (despite one or two people actually trying), the list goes... read more
This organization is exploitative and writes their leases to benefit solely them. They will not waive policy regardless of the situation. They are very pretty apartments, but they also take advantage of students. They also do not clean well when moving in. Additionally, many of their "amenities" are unavailable as too many people are trying to use them like the shuttle.
