I don't rent from landmark but I'm watching the show on Netflix and it seems like the houses are trashy and so are the ppl living there

Wow!!! I have never seen so many, or knew that so many lowlife, trashy people existed!! The people on this show are lazy, disrespectful, and filthy... all of them play the victim!! I never write reviews but after watching this show I couldn't resist. Dave preys on the poor. None of his properties are up to code and he blames the tenants for everything. The houses on the show have mold, foundation issues, bed bugs, etc. Definite slumlord. Also, what Law allows him to just walk into a property when the tenant isn't there?! Last time I checked you have to give written notice. He is an arrogant, patronizing piece of shit and has a special place in hell waiting for him.
I think Dave is a pretty smart landlord, with good heart too. Those people gives one star on the reviews probably never been a tenant or a landlord themselves. I have been both, I totally agreed ~ there are a lot of responsible tenants out there which never had had any problems with landlords, and there are a lot of bad tenants out that think that they don't have to take care of their own living space, yet, if anything happened it's always landlord's fault. This guy is a joke.. no one answers the door so he just walks right in what... this guy needs to read tenant laws. you as a landlord cannot just walk into someones house you need a written statement saying when you are coming. He is a control freak who thinks he can tell people how to live and get into peoples businesslikes hes a damn cop. Id never rent from this company id go homeless before dealing woth his shit
I don't rent, but I just dont like him. Every single property managed by Landmark is a run-down eye sore or a roach-infested hell hole. The typical try-hard "nice guy" who, despite his efforts, comes across as a patronizing, condescending twat. Reality TV couldn't be more unflattering.
