Autumn Hill: Ghetto in the Making I have lived in this complex for 7 months, and my apartment has been flooded with rancid, sulfuric water twice! At first when I read the reviews I noticed that most people were just spoiled college students that are afraid of working-class Mexican-Americans (sounds stupid, but I've seen this before) but now I see the truth. As I type this, water is dripping from my ceiling into a bucket -- put there by staff, not myself. The carpet in the closet is still mildewy from the first flood months b... read more

They actually deserve no stars Autumn Hill actually deserves no stars. Michelle Rich is an absolutely inept manager with exceptionally poor people skills. I have unfortunately had the displeasure of interacting with her twice, and both times I was very dissatisfied. She didn't address the issues that I brought up and was hostile. I left a message on the corporate line and received no follow up.I don't think they care. The maintenance is friendly, but that's one of the few positives. Cynthia Porter and the assistant are just ... read more

DO NOT RENT!! This place is horrible. I understand that in apartment living that there are just some things you have to deal with. But this is the worst place I've ever lived in. The railing outside our apartment has been broken for 2 months. They fixed it with, wait for it....duct tape. The neighbors upstairs also had a bedbug infestation for 6 months and told no one. they just vacuumed them up. (we wondered why they were doing it at 1am) Now we have a roach problem that has carried over from the rest of the building, and w... read more

DONT DO IT-Rent @ Autumn Hill Having been here for 6 months, nobody is happy with this community. The complaints posted here and elsewhere are most definitely accurate. My personal experience has been noting the disinterest of the entire staff of their duties and responsibilities to their residents (they even tried to change terms and conditions adding them to the lease when I came in for my signing, good reason why you should always read before signing); failure to respond to communications; refusal to address concerns brou... read more

Don't Waste Your Time Do not rent from Autumn Hill. We lived there for a year maintenance was friendly but some of them did not know what they were doing. We had problems with leaks in our kitchen sink and in the shower. One day on the weekend our shower would not cut off it just kept running and running the leasing office told us that was not considered an emergency but they would send someone to look at it. That problem happened about 4 other times and who knows if it is fixed. The people at the leasing office had an attit... read more

Not perfect but not a total dump I think people are over exaggerating their problems quite a bit, because I haven't witnessed or experienced the same problems they seem to. I will admit that getting people to come out to fix things is a little slow. And parking can be annoying when a neighbor has people over. As for supposed shootings and crime, I've never witnessed anything more than arguments. For these supposed crimes, I've never seen anything reported on Peyton Dr. since last year over that robbery. So I find that a litt... read more

That place should not even get one star! The dog run that??s always falling apart should not be listed as a feature you cant even use it, flooding is a huge issue as in everyone will have at least one flood before moving out, rude people working in the office, the office never passes on work orders. The only way to get something ??fixed? is to wait for a worker to walk by and grab them. The only nice thing I can say about that dump is? um? well here something you can totally live there with a pit bull. They say you can??t bu... read more

DO NOT RENT HERE PLEASE spread the word that this complex is NOT a safe place to live. Since August 2010 (6 months ago) there have been two shootings and multiple assaults on this property (just outside my building, actually), none of which have been acknowledged by the management nor has the management done anything to increase security/safety on the property. Single women and families BEWARE! Remember the websites only show the pretty pictures, and any deal that is too good to be true almost always is.
