I am new to area and needed new eye doctor. I have a particular disease that requires periodic attention. I was so pleased to have found Dr. Hutchins. He knows what he is doing. He is very friendly and I love his office environment. Not only did he give me a very thorough eye exam but he diagnosed my disease before I could give him all the details. Wow! I was so pleasantly surprised. I have been wearing glasses and contacts for years. This was absolutely the best experience I have ever had with an eye exam. Dr. Hutchins was fantastic. The people that handle the insurance were great also. They went beyond normal service by getting my insurance to pay for visit. I am so excited to get my new contacts. I see great with my new glasses. Thanks to Dr. Hutchins and his friendly staff. I will be back.

This doctor and his practice aren't even worthy of one star. He was horrible. He gave the wrong prescription for my contacts and was totally demoralizing when I questioned him. It was like he enjoyed attempting to make me feel ignorant...He is a complete jerk.
He seemed to make it the goal of the visit to make me feel like an idiot. Contradicted himself in trying to sell me on specific lenses or to convince me I was doing things incorrectly. What functionally should have taken about 15 minutes dragged on for a painful hour and a half.
Ok, where do I start?? He played music loud enough for me to cover my ear so I could talk to my medical insurance provider. I carry VSP, but he needed medical for a routine contact exam. He asked me to smell and see if his scentcy lamp needed changed and proceeded to tell Me to throw it out onto the Walmart concrete. I asked if I could get a paper towel, bc it’s easier to clean. Marked my routine eye visit as medical so he could get a bigger copay out of me. My insurance isn’t having any of it.
Horrible dr. left without a contacts or glasses prescription. All the dr wanted to do was talk and through medical terms in the air. Worst vision exam ever.
Do not use Dr. Hutchins. My prescription is wrong. Wasted my time, drive, and yearly exam on this because now I have glasses that are useless. Unless I want to pay $25 for him to re-examine my eyes. No thanks. I'll take my business elsewhere. Wouldn't recommend this place, "doctor," his rude staff, and unprofessional experiences to anyone. I'm not paying $25 for him to re-examine my eyes when he screwed up & he only spent 2 minutes in the exam room. I'll go to a real professional from now on.
