From humble beginnings in a small former gas station, Lancaster's BBQ was born in Race City, USA (otherwise known as Mooresville, NC). I really liked the deep fried corn on the cob. With a little Texas Pete the Mac & cheese became really good. The special of the day was Pulled Pork which was delicious but COLD!
Always delicious food, especially the Eastern NC style pork BBQ. Pleasant atmosphere, great service, and great food at a reasonable price. Great beer selection, too.

I'd call it "average." ... Nothing to write home about. The hushpuppies and tea are good....Everything else is mediocre...Also, the few times I've gone, I was seated quickly, but it took a LONG TIME for my food to come out of the kitchen. Not sure where the fault lies in that, but I'm assuming it's NOT the server's fault, because it's usually slow coming out even when there are only a FEW customers eating in...
