Taking the patients parents request instead of forcing what they think is best. Being honest. I was lied to twice when my son was in the hospital. Very poor care. Wasn’t aloud in recovery and they gave my son food that he was allergic to after he told them he didn’t want to eat it they still brought him it. Er doc took administered medication that was not approved when I ran out to give my husband breast milk because they weren’t aloud in. Then she lied about his fever. I had a nurse look it up because I knew his fever could... read more
the worst er staff ever was there three hours and kept being told oh they are at a stand still there is no rooms open. I gave back my pager and left and one nurse said black lives matter more then your life does. I thought she was very rude and very cruel towards me and my bf we both are american. I am very displeased with the services because they kept taking other people but yet we were there three hours since quarter to 5 sad really another couple same race as us walked out right before we did. I am never going back to th... read more

I have been seeing the doctors at their Walter Aument location for years, and have been in multiple times recently with no issues without a face mask due to a medical condition. I was literally there Tuesday of this week, with no issues, and was supposed to go in for a work physical today, and they are refusing to see me without a face mask/shield because of a "new policy", even though i was literally just there 3 days ago. They said under their policy i do not qualify for an exemption, even though i do qualify under the Ame... read more
Administrators are the worst! No compassion at all. Refused to transfer my father to their hospital so he could be closer to family when he dies. They didn't even have the dignity to call me and talk to me directly. I feel for the people who work here to provide care. We'll be going to UPMC.
In the ER few mos ago, didn’t need to really be there, but the bill I received for no insurance was astronomical. Never saw a Dr. Brent but got a separate bill from Boston for nearly 900.00 after the bill for over 1,000 for the 3 hrs I spent in. A room plus over 700.00 for the 2 mile ride in the ambulance. 243.00 for an ekg, pcp cost would have been 20.00. That and 1 blood test. Saw a very nice nurse of a total of about 10 mins and then a pca on and off to do ekg, unhook me to go to the bathroom. How can you charge that much... read more

Dr. Laura Cobrin, Dr. Wendy Bakken, Dr. Paul Caroll, and LPC Veronica are wonderful providers. With that being said, Dr. Kager Chief Of Neurosurgery for LGH is far from that. While he was quite enthusiastic when he entered the room that was about all that was good. Dr. Kager is the Chief of Nuerosurgery at Lancaster General Health Penn Medicine in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I read his reviews before going to see him and was hoping my experience would be different then what the ... Continue Reading
thanks for all you did for !e the past 3 weeks
Do you always deny care to a mother for having her son with her? My wrist is potentially broken so you’re forcing me to go to the ER instead of providing care. To the person at the front desk of the Norlanco Urgent Care in Etown- who are you to say who should and shouldn’t care for my son? If I said there was no one to care for him right now it’s none of your business otherwise. I didn’t walk in with my whole family. Unbelievable! I’ve NEVER had a good experience with LG health (right down to the doctor that told me to “just... read more

This is a comment written by one of your employees (Brooke Rottmund). Does Lancaster General endorse this ideology? Very disconcerting to know you have racist healthcare workers who have POC lives in their bigoted, racist hands.
