This was the worst experience I've had at a dentist office. While on the phone making the appointment I stated and made sure I was on Dr. A Ball's schedule, as she knows my situation and handled me treatment with great kindness and discretion. Dr. Smith has the worst bedside manner I have ever witnessed. When working with the public, it may be helpful to try and see why they didn't follow up from the last time (ie, maybe I lost my job and didn't have insurance coverage, not assuming I'm lazy and don't care about my teeth. My husband & I have been with Dr Smith for many years & highly recommend her. A few years before I retired she began doing needed work that my insurance would cover so it wouldn’t be so expensive for me when I had no insurance. I have insurance again & just had an emergency that required a referral to an excellent endodontist. They conferred to get this taken care of as quickly as possible & worked with my insurance company to provide the best plan for me. I have had no problems with her work

Dr. Smith did one crown, then later did another crown next to it, which led her to redo the first crown. After the first tooth was sensitive for a year, I got a costly root canal because all the work done has made it very weak, and now the second crown is loose after only 1 1/2 years. I also grind my teeth which she never addressed until I myself realized that was a factor and asked for a nightguard. As my dentist, she should have noticed earlier, which would have prevented a lot of my issues.
