I would not recommend her practice to my family or friends. I feel she is a good doctor but personal care is lacking and communications among staff is lacking. After seeing the Dr. I was told to book a CAT but when the nurse called I was told to book a chest x-ray and blood work which was not discussed in my appointment. After pushing back a CAT was ordered. The CAT request was coded as urgent. I had my CAT on a Wednesday afternoon and was told the results would be available that afternoon. Dr. Bala is very professional, smart, thorough and kind. She’s on top of the patient's treatments, and coordinates with other involved doctors to achieve the best results and care for her patients. I believe I am extremely fortunate to have Dr. Bala as my oncologist.
