Dr. Bala, as she is affectionately known, is a kind, compassionate, and talented oncologist. I could not recommend her more highly. In the 2.5 years since my diagnosis, she has demonstrated that she is well-versed in the latest treatment studies, and my outlook is much better than originally anticipated.
I’ve been seeing Dr Bala for over five years. She has been excellent with my care and my concerns. Good enough that I quit going to MD Anderson and depend entirely on her.
Dr. Balasubramanian I find her robotic no compassion and I fill rush every time I ask her questions.

Dr. Balasubramanian has been my oncologist for 15 years-she’s wonderful!
Dr. Bala always listens to me and responds to my concerns. She explains everything to me in detail. She always takes the time necessary to make my visit productive. She is the perfect doctor for me.
Dr. Bala is treating my husband for anemia. His recent appointment was telehealth. She is a caring physician and we are grateful for her excellent care.
I was a new patient with Dr. Bala last year and she asked questions about my earlier bout with cancer which showed she had studied my old records, which is more unusual than it should be. She's an excellent doctor.
