Not sure about all the previous reviews on this site, but I have used Lakewood for both of our dogs for years. It has new management in the last couple of years and is a great place for your dogs. They always take great care of them and they come home clean and happy!!

Horrible - We've never been particularly happy with them, but decided to give them another try. It was my dog's first time back there after being groomed at home the past 6 months. She is a golden doodle with very curly hair. If she has mats anywhere - it's not on her face. We always ask for the puppy cut. When I picked her up - I didn't immediately notice, but she has cuts all over her face and cheeks. It looks like the groomer either burned her or cut her with the clippers. Horrible experience ! We just went in to have our two pups nails clipped. The lady came into the lobby ( if you could call it that) , got on the floor , grabbed the pups paw and started cutting with the pup squirming in my husband's arms. By the time she got to the third toe, the pup cried out. Sge said," Be still. I'm not going to let go ". We got up and walked out before she could hurt the pup any more. Do NOT take your pet to this kennel !!

Horrible experience. We took our two pups in for a simple nail trimming. The place smelled bad when we walked in. The lady came from the back, got down on the floor, grabbed the first pups paw and started cutting with the dog squirming in my husband's arms. The pup cried out when she started on the third nail. We walked out before she could hurt the pup any more. Do NOT take your pets to this place !!!
