After several long painful weeks, we visited your ER. There was a bit of a wait, but once I got to a room, a very caring nurse listened to me. When the Dr came in, she sat down, took her time, took notes, and listened to me. She admitted me to the best floor ever. Floor 5 is where all of the rock star nurses and techs are housed in your facility! They whole-heartily cared for me with the utmost compassion. My husband was admitted with a stroke 12/21. The care we received from the Er, ICU, and med surg floor was phenomenal and he kindness shown was so comforting! Thank you!
We went through the Emergency Department last week with our 6 month old baby and had a very negative experience. If we ever need emergency care for our children in the future we will be driving an hour to Childrens or Ochsner. Also, due to the limited birth options that Lakeview has to offer we will continue birthing at Ochsner as well.
I went into labor early and had the best care from all the L&D nurses! The ladies were great and I could not have asked for anything better! They took care of us like we were part of their family!
