I have always loved Lakeview. My daughter is special needs and she has always gotten top quality Care at Lakeview. The ER staff has always been on top of their game when she has came in with serious life-threatening situations. The nurses on the third floor ,are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They go out of their way for their patients and in my case a parent staying with my child. They make it a lot more easier to be there.
Brought my mom in at 9:00am for test. It is now 2:00 pm and she is still waiting to be taken back for the test. In the last 4 hours NOT ONE nurse came to check on her. When I went to check on how long before the procedure they didn't even realize she was still here. This is terrible patient care and there is absolutely no justification for it.
I absolutely love Lakeview! I've delivered two children and had several procedures and tests done there, and my favorite thing about the place is the people every time! They are so courteous, caring, and charismatic! I have never met an employee there that wasn't immediately, genuinely friendly and full of character. Well done, Lakeview! I am proudly a loyal patient (but hopefully not too often)!
The worst experience of my life. An 18 wheeler ran here into a concrete wall 3 wks ago. She's in such pain now she's cryingggggg!!! She might be 33 but she'll always be MY child and to have her sit like this...... going on 7 hrs now.... bullshit. I hope you see this. LSU..... here we come!
Two babies delivered at Lakeview, a appendectomy, and hernia repair. Will also be delivering our next child there. Love the ER staff. A wonderful hospital.
