great place to call home – I have lived at Lakeside for almost 3 years, I came to the complex when the new management took over. I started in a townhome and then downsized to a one bedroom, when I no longer needed the extra bedroom. Both my homes were in places on the property where I was able to view the lake, and the new deck, grills and court yard. Amazingly Maintained – The rooms are huge in size which provides a great value along with the low monthly rental cost. The buildings are older (from the 70 s), so they are not brand new looking but they are maintained and acceptable.

Extremely Satisfied – I am a newer resident, app. 4 moths now. I am very happy with the entire complex. The office staff tries very hard to get things done right away for you. I have even seen them taking out trash for an elderly tenant. That, I think , speaks for the service. I guess you just have to keep in mind that these are not brand new apartments. They are perfectly priced, for I checked several out before I made my decision to move in.

Very pleasant – I have lived at lakeside for over 10 years and have found it to be a very pleasant, clean and safe place to live. Any issues I have had have been addressed in an appropriate amount on time. The office staff goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly. They have updated the lighting in my apartment and replaced any appliances that were not in working order. I think the negative ratings are from people that have been evicted since the new management has really been on top of cleaning out any rif raf!!

BEWARE! Doesn''t pay their Invoices! – Village Green contracted out for Air Duct Cleaning in their buildings in June 2008. We have sent many Invoices and called many, many times. They just keep blowing us off. They stated several times they would send a check and still we recieve nothing.

watch out your deposit – they charge you for $500 deposit in the very beginning. You just keep your fingers crossed after you move out, you get lucky if they refund you some money back but never hope to get all of them back. Stay away from this place.
