Helpful car buying process
First I would like to say I’m a person who forgets everything. I was contacted early in the week advising that it was time for maintenance. My appointment was set up quickly, I was in there first thing Saturday morning. I received excellent customer service from Ray Adkins in the service department. Wish I had come to site before allowing this business to rip us off. They have 37 complaints over the last 3 years and 8 complaints within the last 12 months! This will make it 13. My daughter brought her 2007 Toyota Corolla for an oil change and to have the air which was not working diagnosed. $102 for oil change and tire rotation, expensive, yes, but my daughter agreed to the charge. Took in a $49 coupon for an oil change and was charged $83. I said I only needed an oil change when I took the vehicle in. Had a full service 5 months prior. Service writer said all services included with coupon. I trusted this dealer and wasn't until I got home and checked my bill that I saw what they did. I didn't even need an oil change, but they kept hounding me to use my coupon.
The dealership has a warranty for used cars leading the customer to believe they will correct any mechanical issues with the vehicle within a time frame which is highlighted in a document you sign at purchase. The service department stated they placed new rotors and break pads on the vehicle. The car was brought back three times for the same noise after the dealership claimed they REPLACED the rotors and pads. RecommendedRay was a great consultant. The area to wait was comfortable and clean Had an appt. I always expect to still wait some time. So I plan accordingly with any appt anywhere I go to. Was told 1 hour to 1 and a half hours. Was about a little over an hour. The est time was on point !Service was all around great.
