first time here...2.5 hours later the doc came in...i get it's a walk in clinic but... anyway she kind of creeped in the room and startled my pup...he started barking so she never even looked at him...she gave him 3 meds a shampoo and we were out the door $120 later
The staff is very caring to humans as well as the animals.The doctors are great,especially dr Pryor.. I hear that he's no longer there and that saddens me.Ill be praying for him and his well-being,i also will pray for his family and all the staff,hang in there
Always liked the vets here but not the long waits so I stopped going there about 6 years ago. Decided to try them again and had a FOUR AND A HALF HOUR WAIT! (While watching others who arrived later go be seen before is) In fact nearly five hours by the time we left. No excuse for this whatsoever. What's worse as we were leaving the tech told me to give the medicine 3 times a day. It was only supposed to be given once every 24 hours. If I hadn't known that it could've killed my puppy. I’ve been using Lake Vet for many years with my many pets. I’ve always thought this place, the doctors, the staff were great...until today. Last week we made the gut-wrenching decision to have our old lab put to sleep on Monday. She can barely walk and is eating very little as well as having problems controlling her bladder. We went and signed in this morning. It’s almost 3pm and we are still waiting with broken hearts for our dog to be put to sleep. I can’t say enough about LVC. I had to put my 12 yr old Maggie down on Tuesday. It had been a lengthy illness. The entire staff rate #1 with me. They have always been there for Maggie and me, especially over the last 2 years. Tuesday was a horrible day and their caring treatment for her and for me helped us both get through the most difficult time. I consider them part of my family and always will. Words cannot express my thanks for what ya’ll did for my sweet girl and for me.
