Great place to live if you’re looking for somewhere with constant plumbing issues, AC & heating issues, constant raising in rent, no manners in the office, no pool monitor & rude destructive little kids everywhere, constant break-ins and fires, and to top it all off POT HOLES EVERYWHERE 😁
Don’t rent here. This place is a joke. The management is a joke ever since it changed. I lived here for only a year and it is the worst complex I’ve ever lived in. Things take forever to get fixed. The pool is never open, and the washer and dryer never works/has no hot water. Any time you voice a complain, they just ignore it and brush it off. Don’t waste your money here.
It’s been five months since I moved out from lake of the wood, and I’m still waiting for my deposit check. Ridiculous
Let me start off with saying i have lived at Lake of the woods for 2 years and it was a 100% disaster. I lived at 6609 West Bancroft street apartment 16B and it was a very bad apartment. The place was so cold during winter months (specially the 3rd bedroom and Master), the walls were painted over time and time again that the cracks started to show on them and the ceilings, the water turns very cold after 10 mins of showering, if you wanted to get a nice warm bath for the day ... They showed me an apartment that was being renovated and I moved in a month and a half later only to find out that nothing was finished. The stove and outlets were not working. They broke the circuit. They walk into my apartment whenever they feel like it without my approval. I lived here for a month and have had 3 property managers. The maintenance sucks and everything they do. They have dogs and children galore. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
