While I was initially excited about working with Lake Norman Hardscapes, ultimately I had had a very poor experience, as Dan promised for nearly 2 weeks to send proposal (estimate), I never received it. Transparency and professionalism go a long way, I would have appreciated him simply saying his team was uninterested in doing the job, if it were a matter of job being too small.
Everyone was super to deal with. Mike is a really excellent communicator and has wonderful ideas. We were a little stressed about the project before we got started, but it was so much better then we planned for having heard some horror stories. Thx LKN
The company completely failed to provide a balanced retaining wall with matching ends. One side has five steps and the other three, my math says not close. The area between the patio and wall was supposed to be useable and flat. The path to the backyard is a mud path, drainage assurances failed. Estimate was completely off; I was quoted 500 square feet of sod and needed 1000 square feet. They even installed two different types of sod. I now have two grass types in my yard!
