This is an amazing State Park, their tails are breathtaking. It's kept very clean. Can't wait to go back and explore more of it's trials. Loved it.
We went on the easy 1 mile trail. It was okay, but everything that was supposed to be a sight seeing thing, wasn't there. No butterflies, frogs, birds. etc. The park needs a good mowing so bad. It wasn't as pretty as it should have been.
This was my first time camping and I couldn't be happier. Even though Huntsville is closer, I really want to explore the Lake Livingston park more! Trails were great, the staff and volunteers were amazing. I would be very happy to make this my go-to park.

The park was ok.... the staff at the check in area are sooo rude... can't them any question because they act like we already know the answer.... sorry that the customers ask the same questions frequently.. they don't need to be rude about it... the campsites are too close to each other.... but other than the rudeness from staff it was an ok park.
