The park store is not open and they don’t tell you at all. The park is reserved for next two years. But you can reserve a any day to come in and fish 🎣 Note: The park store is NOT open.

I apologize if you were inconvenienced by the park store being closed for renovations. The top pinned post on our FB page, and the alert at the top of our parks official website (https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/lake-livingston) have notices regarding closures, such as the store and marina being under construction for a full renovation. The current window for making overnight camping reservations is 3 months out, and there are campsites available for reservation in that time frame. Great park! Very relaxed and family fun atmosphere. We rented a two person and kayak then floated a bit on an air mattress & had a picnic. Will definitely be back!

Lake Livingston is a beautiful park. It is extremely well taken care of and the park personnel are friendly and helpful. I have been staying at the park for over 40 years. All the parks I’ve stayed at Lake Livingston is my favorite. I feel safe when I stay there.
