as I looked over the paperwork I was signing- it explained the dentists here were not employees of the building or practice but CONTRACTORS?? This place is a RIP OFF I went in for a cleaning which normally takes about 45 minutes to my surprise they where done in ten minutes & told me I needed a deep cleaning & my insurance would not pay for it I was told it would take about a hour and would cost $973.00 yes that's correct a hour cleaning for almost a $1000.00 I was so upset with the whole experience I had to switch back to my old Dentist & the only reason I even changed Dentist in the first place is because I am disabled & the ride from Pace is a long journey for ... read more
Terrible experience with Central DuPage dental group. The dentist, Hannah Baek, cancelled my appointment (which I waited 2 months for) because I showed up 5 mins late. And then when I tried to re-schedule, the lady upfront was very rude and wanted me to wait another 4 weeks. They also have very questionable billing practices; they'll quote you one price and charge another. Go somewhere else for your dental needs.
The office staff is not the warmest, but Dr. Chunprapaph himself did a nice job on my 9 year old. HOWEVER - their billing department is attempting to scam customers and insurance companies. I was told I did not have coverage for the procedure needed when in the office, so I paid over $300 out of my own pocket. Contacted insurance the following day to discover I have FULL COVERAGE for the procedure! Contacted office to share info & was told I was wrong. Will perform all test that they can just to take the money: I just want a cleaning, the staff looked my insurance information and insisted having btwng x-rays and full mouth x-rays even before cleaning. I was upset, normally dentists do the cleaning and then suggest taking x-rays... So end up not performing anything from them.
Dr. Jackie Garcia is a very dedicated dentist. She not only takes her time with her work, she really cares about her patients. I highly recommend this dentist. She also works in Elgin and speaks Spanish. She tries her best to work around her patients schedule. She came in on her day off because I had an emergency appointment. Who would do that for you?
