I truly appreciated the time the hygienist, Sherry, took to make sure I was comfortable. Her statement that the doctor and I had similar personalities helped to relax me even more. Dr. Telthorst was professional as well as witty. Additionally, I found the photos an excellent form of relaxation as it takes your mind off the procedure.
My last visit to Lake Forest Dental was very positive. I found everyone I dealt with in the office to be very courteous and professional.
During a Sunday my lower left back tooth began hurting. I thought little about it until it continued through Monday evening when the pain really revved up. I call Dr. Telthorst's office on Tuesday morning promptly at 9:00am and he agreed to see me immediately. After looking it he said I needed a root canal. Instead of scheduling it for later he went right to work. The pain relief was immediate. I can not thank him enough for the consideration and service provided.

Everyone at Lake Firest Dental is top-notch! Scheduling appointments couldn't be easier, and once there, gourmet coffee is available, along with a diverse assortment of reading material. But you won't be waiting long. The staff is very good about keeping appointments on time, while Dr. Telthorst never makes you feel rushed. It's a rare balance to strike, for sure, but they make it look easy. If you're looking for a dentist (or looking to change), you will not regret working with this office.
Dr. Telthorst and his staff are great! They are always welcoming and glad to help. Although going to the dentist isn't my favorite thing, they all make it as nice as possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The best part about my office visit are the picture slideshows that help me relax while I am getting my teeth worked on. I also have to mention the little to none wait times and the friendly staff. Mostly important, the dentist is very skilled. He installed a filling about a year ago and it was the best I ever had. I like to go here for a stress free visit.
