I love this place. I went for the first time yesterday. Excellent ice cream! Excellent prices! Excellent atmosphere. I will drive the half an hour out to Lockport rather than to frequent the outrageously priced places in Tonawanda.
I'm a girl from Texas so I've always said Bluebell was the best. Then I ate Lake Effect.
I've never actually thought about ice cream AFTER eating it, but the whiskey brown sugar was so incredible, I couldn't wait to have it again. Possibly the best ice cream ever.
So many different kinds of ice cream! I wasn't brave enough to try one of the array of flavors (promise to next time!), but my extra cookies and cream was great. My daughter had fruity pebble ice cream, must have been great since she'd lick the bowl if she could've lol

This place is a little slice of Heaven! If I only had one day to live I'd eat Peanut Butter Epiphany till the end! Lol
Love all the different flavors, clean and welcoming atmosphere and reasonable prices. Been coming here and will be coming back.
There were so many flavors to choose from!!! I hade to go with the 5 scoop sample. They were all amazing! It was well worth the 1hr 45min drive. Will have to go again soon!!
