Have to love it when a great ice cream shop is in your own back yard. Lake Effect is by far one of the best, if not the best ice cream shops I have ever been to. Their dedication to making amazing ice cream and to supporting local businesses in doing so can’t be beat. From classics like Frozen Hot Chocolate and Salty Caramel to seasonal treats like Trick R Treat and Sponge Candy, you can’t go wrong.

Fabulous ice cream with many unique flavors! The Lockport location is where I go and it has nice seating inside when it cold or rainy and is right by the canal so there's a nice area to sit or walk by the canal when it's warmer! Your staff is always nice and I love getting a sample before I buy a new flavor. Nice atmosphere and wonderful product!
Lake Effect is a real treat! Love it every time I go. A true adventure for the taste buds!
The Thanksgiving pies were amazing. The family loves them.
