RecommendedI've been here a few times and was always impressed. Yesterday however, my dog had an accident and slit her foot on something outside; the bleeding was INSANE. I called Lake Dow while I was on the way so they'd be prepared. The staff was so quick and attentive when I got there. I was too frantic to even fill out paperwork and the one front desk receptionist took over and handled it for me. Everyone was SO caring, helpful and best of all, calm.

They are wonderful and loving people. I had to put my living shitzu to sleep after for some months they tried to safe. They gave us space to hold her and say our goodbyes and when she finally left us they we're there to comfort us. Took care of all the preparations to have her cremated. We got a sympathy card sign by all the staff. And we're very grateful for everything they did for us. Now they take care of our other Shitzu.

For me, there is no other Veterinarian than Dr. Marisa Craig at Lake Dow Animal Hospital. She and the professional staff demonstrate true love and care for their animal patients and owners. Recently, I adopted a preemie kitten, Luna, who developed a hemorrhoid. I made a mistake and took her to another vet, East Lake, where Dr. Gardner performed the correct procedure, but the stitch failed and the hemorrhoid returned the following day.
