RecommendedDr Joe Stark has been taking care of our animals for 25 years now and we have lost some in that time frame, Ive never had a vet in my lifetime that is as compassionate and soft spoken as Joe Stark If our animals are kept overnight we don’t worry the staff is all attentive and loving. I’ve also seen Dr Starks associates who are equally as attentive. Clean office and friendly workers as well as volunteers with adoption!

The service and all around hospitality
I was fostering to adopt a dog and for serious reasons, it did not work out. I get it was best for her. I got ugly comments on Facebook and then they got deleted or blocked so I could not see them. When I brought her back, the people in the front were very rude! I will never take an animal there and definitely will not recommend it to others.
The lady in front is soooo rude. She can’t handle answering phones and waiting on customers. Soo rude. Won’t ever bring my Doberman there. Another vet suggested to take this puppy there first and so I did. I couldn’t keep him. Kept him a few days and finally brought him to the pound where they were so nice. The receptionist took him home with her.
Dr. Stark and the staff at Lake Area Animal Hospital are absolutely amazing. They are extremely compassionate and always willing to go the extra mile for your pet. Would definitely recommend them for your veterinary needs.
