Visit with doctor went well but after that everything fell apart. The assistant did not do the pre~authorization correctly thus I was denied the prescribed medication from the pharmacy. After contacting the doctors office I found out the doctor and the assistant was out of office on vacation for a week so I was just out of luck. This office is a poorly managed office. Dr Gaar is very personable and extremely thorough in her evaluation of potential issues of the skin. She answered all questions with specifics. Excellent doctor!!!
I love Dr. Gaar, but it seems that I am often waiting in the lobby, then more waiting in the exam room. It is not uncommon to wait any appointment, but Advanced Dermatology is always exceedingly long. An hour of waiting for a five minute appointment is excessive in my opinion.

Dr. Gaar was professional and efficient in doing the examination. Reception was very helpful in check-in procedures. Clinic seems to be quite busy.
Everyone in her office staff was just so welcoming and eager to help you out with what ever you need. Office was very clean and large. Well lite. When the girl brought me back I turned the wrong way in the hall, and she laughed and said your other right. We both laughed. When I first meet the Doctor in my mind I thought no she’s way to young to be a Doctor. But after a few minutes I could really tell she knew what she was talking about. Waited longer than I would have like, but Dr. Gaar very thorough & spent time w/me.
She was very professional and concerned about my skin conditions. A great doctor.
Dr Gaar and her assistant did a wonderful job with my visit today. They were both courteous and professional in their care for me. The front desk folks were also courteous and professional in their processing of my visit. All of the individuals I interfaced with today are a credit to the practice.
