Pretext—I had just worked an 10-hour day on top of running my own small business, and still carried myself with a positive attitude and respect throughout this appointment. After being early for my 4:25PM appointment, I ended up waiting to be seen by the physician until about 5:00PM. I have had nothing but great experiences at this office. I don't normally write reviews, but my last appointment was so great, and everyone I interacted with that day was extremely nice and welcoming, I couldn't help but share how good of a visit it was. They were able to accommodate me as a new patient pretty last minute last year, and have been extremely responsive whether via phone or communicating through the My Layhey Chart website. I was a patient at Beverly primary care for over 20+ years, many of those years I felt I was treated well and like an individual, the pandemic changed the office, the atmosphere, and people that work there. . I was pushed out of the Beverly office by the office manager for struggling with major depression and my pcp of over 20+ years didn’t give me a referral or a goodbye, unfortunately after 20+ years of being a patient there I left feeling judged and struggling with depression. I will never recommend this office to ANYONE. There are lies on my visit note, and the Office Manager laughed at me when I asked for a number to complain and just told me to talk to the hospital. The hospital does not deal with primary care issues. The doctor claimed he could not look to see if it was metal in my thumb due to not having his glasses, and offered to dig at it with a needle. I said no because that is very sketchy seeing as to how he did not have his glasses to even look at it.
