I love driving up from San Diego to come to Nicks! Exceptional service (Miles was fabulous), the food was tasty and the drinks were incredible. Perfect place to celebrate my birthday. They even gave me a birthday card!
Unable to get a reservation and considering the max capacity is 70 ppl I can see why. The bar takes up the entire place making me feel like the bar tenders have a way better atmosphere than the tiny 2-seater we got that barely fit our order. I give it 3-stars because the service was very good/high end. At the end the unimpressive menu and the wait due to the lack of space wouldn't justify another try.
Consistently great food! Plan on putting your name on the wait list but so worth the wait. Besides, there's a lot to see and shop in the area! Highly recommend - pretty much everything! The steak salad is excellent as is the coleslaw, the warm potato salad, the grilled artichoke, the ribs, the chicken sandwich - like I said, everything is good. The staff is also awesome - see Kyle for great service!
