OMG, I asked someone in Laguna Beach where I could find a good veggie burger, and they immediately recommended Nick's. It was great! To me, an elevated version of a veggie burger. Flavorful, and with lots of veggies, including black beans, avocado, tomato and thin cut crispy onions for some flavorful texture, plus more. I had the bistro side salad to go with it and that was perfect. Good, friendly and sincere service by everyone I met there, too! Loved it!
Salty pear martini? Asparagus fries? (Perfectly) Deep fried deviled eggs ? Fried chicken? Crazy insane Pasta? Yes please..
As former Californians and now out of state visitors we were quite pleased to have stumbled upon Nick's a few years ago. Now we try to get there each time we visit our kids in Laguna Hills. Our recent visit was lunch and I must say best French fries ever. And my husbands fish sandwich was excellent. Our server Darryl knocked it out of the park. For us, a small splurge worth every cent.
i was in Laguna for a girls weeekend with my mom and sisters and my (OC resident) sister said we had to eat at Nick's. I have to say, it was the best meal we ate dueing the five day trip (and we ate out for every meal!) The special that night was a petit filet, and the best butternut squash soup I've ever had! Service was fabulous and the atmosphere was great!
