I found out that I had Multiple Myeloma a little over two years ago. My Dr referred me the Lafayette Family Cancer Center and since then it has been a life saving adventure. The staff at Lafayette are the best Dr Openshaw and his team are awesome. I signed up to a clinical trial and they have been absolutely vigilant monitoring my multiple myeloma condition. I am here for my 14th chemo treatment. It is New Year's Eve 2015, I was here on Christmas Eve also. I was disappointed when I realized I would be spending holidays receiving treatments, but I have to say I am so thankful to be coming here where all the nurses, receptionists, tech experts, lunch deliverers, and greeters strive to make a bad but necessary situation more than bearable with smiles, courtesy, and humor, not just on the holidays but every visit.
