My first visit with Dr. Thornburg and most likely my last. The man has zero personality, and I felt I was treated with indifference.
Following a painful fractured wrist I received work in appoint to see Dr Thornburg the following morning . Received excellent assistance from staff and Dr Thornburg. Xrays confirmed I needed surgery with hardware. Dr Thornburg answered all questions while he and staff were getting surgical arrangements made. Surgery was a total success. My follow up office appoints were received with the same kindness and compassion from the staff and Dr Thornburg! A special thanks to the front desk gals, medical assistant Rachel , Practice ... read more
First time visit. Was referred to him by another Dr. within this Clinic. This Dr. had Zero personality with a deadpan face. Not engaging and very stiff or stoic. Did a good job, however, in giving me a Cortisone shot in my wrist.
Dr. T. was condescending and rude. I was in excruciating pain, and he had the audacity to accuse me of coming to him for opioid pain meds. Well, Dr. T, I do all I can to avoid taking opioids. I'm on Medicare, and I've gotten 2 bills over $100. What a scam.
Terrible surgeon!! I have a bigger problem now than before the surgery. He says there's nothing that he can do now. Before the surgery he said it was a simple surgery and would get rid of the cyst now I cannot bend my finger.
Absolutely horrible. No empathy. Poor bedside manner.
Just had a similar experience with Dr. Thornburg as a previous 1-star reviewer had. I've been having hand pain for a year now. Went to doctors immediately, once it became a problem. I've tried physical therapy, a cortisone shot, braces, ice and heat, pain medicine, resting it then exercising it, and yet the pain has persisted. After a year of conservative treatment, it was time to delve further into what was wrong, but nothing showed up on Xrays, MRI, or even a nerve conduction study. All were "textbook perfect." Dr. Thornbu... read more
I was referred for possible surgery after receiving a diagnosis of severe ulnar tunnel syndrome in both elbows, following nerve conduction testing. My pain was significant and neuropathy was getting worse. He walked into the room and sat down without addressing me. He did not make eye contact, and bent my wrists a few times. He said tests would need to be done and I told him they had already been done and results should be in my chart. He opened my chart, told me to try wearing hand and elbow braces for two weeks. If it didn... read more
I had a terrible hedge trimmer accident and he compassionately saved and repaired two of my fingers. Excellent physician, great photographer and I am so fortunate that he did my surgery.
