Dr. Thornburg explained exactly what to expect and that was what happened that surgery was about 5 years ago and my hand has never felt better thank you Dr.thornburg.
Dr Lacy Thornburg operated on my left hand thumb joint back in 2011 and did an excellent job- it is so good to be pain free in that hand for years now. As an artist using my hands all the time I needed his expertise again in December 2021 on my right hand and this time surgery was more extensive. He is a great surgeon knew exactly what was needed, how to do it and I am well on the way to recovery and would recommend him highly.

I recently saw Dr. Thornburg and requested cortison shots into my Basal thumb joints. I had received these shots four years ago from a different doctor and received four years of pain relief. DR. Thornburg declined to give me the shots and proceeded to suggest surgery. I am an 80 yr old male and all I want at this point in my life is pain management, not unneccesay surgery.
Idk this guy seemed okay but kinda dismissed my neuroma that I developed in my hand and told me I'd never regain feeling in my finger again. Just wanted to find some treatment for the neuroma tbh he rushed me out of there so fast I barely had time to ask. I guess I'll look somewhere else for treatment.
