First "real" Deva Cut and it was amazing! The salon is great And the ladies were welcoming. Very knowledgeable and willing to spend the time to teach me how to correctly care for my curls. Thank you!

This review is a bit late, but I went to Keiko to get a big chop for my mass of curly hair and she was absolutely marvelous. I was in search of a Deva certified stylist and the only one in Bellingham was not taking new clients. Keiko was able to see me very quickly, and I left with my curls looking very frizz-free and healthier than ever. I have spent the last month recommending La Conner hair design to all of my curly friends. 10/10 will go here again.

I have 3C curly hair and don’t trust just anyone with cutting my hair. It had been almost 2 years without cutting my hair till my sister found a deva stylist for me. Laurie did an amazing job with my cut and explained everything as she cut, washed and styled my hair. I love my haircut so much!!

I was looking for a licensed/certificated DevaCurl stylist so I found Keiko through the search database. After I disclosed that I was Deaf and would need extra time in person for my appointment, Keiko shared that she had Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients before. Keiko took time to communicate with me in person and made sure she understood what kind of haircut I wanted. She went beyond the usual time length, wrote on paper, and gestured. I had my first deva curly hair treatment by Laurie! The whole experience from the moment I entered the salon to the time I left was amazing. Laurie made me feel comforatable and confident. Though it was my first time there, I knew I was in good hands. I didn’t even know about deva for curly hair when I made my appmt. But Laurie brought me up to speed once she saw that my hair was curly. I wish I had a before and after picture because truly my hair looked amazing when I went out the door! Thank you, Laurie! Got my very first Devacurl cut by Keiko this morning and I am so happy!! My curls had lost their shape and I had given up on them. Keiko not only brought them back to life but educated me on how to style and care for them properly. I highly recommend going to see her if you have curls.

My daughter had her first ever Deva Curl Cut with Keiko and let me tell you ladies. The transformation was unbelievable. My daughter had dry, frizzy & out of control curly hair. Now, it is more manageable & beautiful just the way her hair was intended to look. I highly recommend this cut and to see Keiko for this particular cut.
