DO not do business with these people!!!!!! Stay far away!!! Room mate called them to come check out her HVAC. 30 min later , & $188 later they were gone and still not cooling! I am a Carrier dealer and installer, & license so1, I know 30 min is not going to fix the problem if ( they pull the system down, weigh the existing freon in the system2 they have no idea what the suction or discharge pressure were and 3, $100 for 1 lb of R22 freon???? IMHO....Lacey = Thieves – I called Lacey Mechanical to come out and check my HVAC system because it had quit working. They were early (which was good), but the technician did not seem very knowledgeable. He seemed in a hurry to get out of there (I think because he didn't know what was wrong). He told me that my 6 year old furnace had a crack in the heat exchanger and that I needed to replace my whole furnace at a cost of $3,500.00. Upsell. – called Lacey to find why aircond not working. They said it would be $500 to do leak inspection and $7500 to replace Unit. Called Silvernail for second opinion. He found small leak and fixed leak in 30 minutes. Used to use Lacey in past but last few service calls have been attempts to upsell. Will not use again.

Pathetic!!!! – One of Laceys Techs came to our house to check out our AC unit. Said it would cost $400.00 just to tear into it and see what was wrong!! When asked what it would cost to change out the existing 4 ton unit he quoted me a price of $7,995.00. DO I HAVE SUCKER ON MY FOREHEAD LACEY?? Had another company come out, he installed the same unit, changed out the coil inside the house all for $3500.00, with a great warranty and service commitment!! NO THANKS LACEY.. FIND ANOTHER SUCKER!!!!!

plumbing and HVAC – asked them to come out and inspect a building I'm going to rent and the 'inspection' turned out to be a sales pitch - the 'inspection' was quick and superficial. 3 weeks later I'm still waiting for one of the 2 reports. Complaining to management didn't work - made to feel like it was my fault. 5 year customer of Lacey Mechanical - NOT ANY MORE!

Great Job!! – They were here when they said they would be, they got the job done in less time than estimated. Took time to explain the system to us. All around good company!!

wouldnt use again – will bill you for things they didnt do right in the first place and threaten to file liens on you before you recieve an invoice.
