I started receiving bills dated back to October 2024. I thought they seemed sketchy due to a different patient account number on each. I called to question it and didn't trust what I was being told. I called Grandview and they gave me a local number to call. I have called once a week for 3 months and left a voicemail with no call back. Are these bills legit? I would like to pay if they are but cannot verify.
I see that this office doesn't get very good reviews, so I just wanted to share my positive experience I had today. I spoke with TJ in the billing department about a call I received from a collection agency for a past due bill from 2023 that I was not aware of. I had lab work done at Women’s Health Specialists of Birmingham (part of Grandview) back in December 2024. I didn’t receive a bill from LabFirst until July 2025 — and it was a very large bill that was never submitted to my insurance. Now it's October 2025, and I’ve still been unable to get in touch with LabFirst. Despite multiple attempts, I can’t reach anyone by phone, and their online system can’t locate my account. I would like to pay if they are but cannot verify.
These people messed up my billing somehow. I did blood work on 1/2/2025 and received bill on 7/30/25!!!!!! I was told that it's at no charge at all!!!!! I swear they are scammers. No way this is a professional setting.
