Wish the billing could get negative stars. They messed up billing insurance company. I have labs run every six months with same doctor. I have never paid zero to the lab. They billed wrong insurance and now they won’t fix it. They have turned the account over to different collections and it gets disputed and the collections even sees where it is wrong. Told a collector today they need to sue me for it. Told them they better have their facts together when they do. Told them they will not get a dollar now.
I really dislike getting blood work done and after fainting the past few times in office my doctor sent me to 2nd floor lab and my experience was great. J was quick, gentle and calm which made all the difference.
I started receiving bills dated back to October 2024. I thought they seemed sketchy due to a different patient account number on each. I called to question it and didn't trust what I was being told. I called Grandview and they gave me a local number to call. I have called once a week for 3 months and left a voicemail with no call back. Are these bills legit? I would like to pay if they are but cannot verify.
I see that this office doesn't get very good reviews, so I just wanted to share my positive experience I had today. I spoke with TJ in the billing department about a call I received from a collection agency for a past due bill from 2023 that I was not aware of. Upon discussing it and realizing it was a discrepancy with a coding issue on lab work that was sent to my insurance company twice (I had reached out after receiving bills twice back in 2023), TJ was happy to assist in correcting this.
