Let me Begin by saying when you go out to eat with your husband you expect to eat your meal the same time he's eating his right ? When our waiter came to check on us we let him know my crab cakes were cold inside he offered to take them back to the kitchen and nuke them... yes those were his very words so I said no thank you my $25 meal going in a microwave I don't think so.. five minutes later the manager comes by and ask if everything is okay once again I tell her my meal is cold and I also let her know what my waiter said... read more
So let me start off by saying I am not the most easy customer to serve... I have a number of food allergies on top of being celiac and rarely have a good restaurant experience because of it. Not only was my group able to call ahead and make a reservation, La Vita accommodated our group despite the last minute changes that were needed for attendees. Easter Brunch was just aweful! The only really good things were the eggs Benedict and the dessert table. Unfortunately, our party of 4 got the last eggs Benedict and after 20 minutes, they still had not put out more. We got the bottom bits in the pans of the other choices, and when we requested more were told "they are still working on it", but the food never came. 24.99 each for, cheese and soggy crackers, old over dressed salad, soggy pasta. It was ok but not as good as before. The roasted red skins were undercooked and hard but when we mentioned it they brought out cooked ones, but if they checked properly when expediting they should have found them undercooked and not brought them out to us in the first place. The waiter must have been new because he took my plate away while my husband was still eating, asked if we wanted dessert or coffee while my husband was still eating, and bought the check over while my husband was still eating his entree.
