My wife and I had just gotten married and only had time for a one-day honeymoon. I found La Villa Vista online and thought it would be the perfect surprise getaway for a day. This was the worst possible decision I could have made. Words cannot describe how uncomfortable we were, being bitten by mosquitoes constantly, sweating without any relief from AC, and getting no help from an absent staff. Booked the room out from underneath us on our wedding night, packed our personal belongings without telling us and moved to a closet in the garage, and lied about booking us an alternative room. The room we had the night before had a refrigerator that was frozen over. Sean Sasser said he would fix it, and he did not. The shower door would not close properly, and the pool was full of leaves.

This is a beautiful home with gorgeous views directly above Lake Travis. The penthouse offered a breathtaking view of the sunset. Most importantly, the hostess offered superb service and accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Gorgeous views of Lake Travis. Very relaxing outdoor poor and seating area. Kind of strange when we checked in and there was some confusion with another party that booked with VRBO. Did not get charged until almost two weeks later (strange) and owner thought a 4 pack of beer from Pinthouse Pizza belonged to the house and took it (thankfully brought it back after I called him and asked).
