We had a nice dinner at La Trattoria. The food and beverage quality was good, and the service was very good but slightly rushed. It has a very nice atmosphere. An elevated experience from some of the more casual spots.
This only didn't get one star because our server wasn't horrible, low bar but it was at least something. The salads are put together before you ever get there and are awful. Caprese salad is not what they are serving and everything is mushy and gross from sitting. The soup, garlic and Parmesan cheese upset my stomach immediately. My husband's osso bucco was mushy and bland and the shank was so small you couldn't fit the marrow fork into it. Thought we were going to Virgilio’s and ended up in the Trattoria, which was fantastic! Tablecloths and a nice dining set up made it feel very Italian. And the food was amazing. We had the osso bucco. It’s the first time we were ever given a small fork to dig out the bone marrow! Absolutely delicious.
