On Saturday morning, we decided to travel to Phila. and wanted an Italian restaurant for dinner. I read the 4 other reviews of La Stanza and decided to call, and I was glad I did! The chef/owner Marco took my call, we made a reservation for 8:00 and showed up exactly as planned. What great, great find. excellent italian dinner – I had some old froiends in ton looking for a genuine Philly italian dinner. We canceled our plans to go to Ralph's at the last minute after I read some bad reviews on this site. I picked LaStanza by chance since I had never been there before. They we very friendly from the minute I called for a reservation (probably not necessary). THe parking lot was great and the food was relly great. absolutely amazing – I've been to La Stanza several times and each time I eat there it just keeps getting BETTER and BETTER!! The food is amazing, service is great, and also the environment inside is exquisite. When you're sitting there enjoying your food it's as if you are in Italy!! I reccomend anyone to go there for whether you are booking a party or want to have a romantic dinner :)
If you've ever eaten here, you already know what a gem of an Italian restaurant La Stanza is. The decor may be lacking and plain, to say the least, but the food is outstanding. I've eaten there over a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Every visit has been better than the previous. Fabulous!!! – I recently had a party for my son's Christening at LaStanza. I was truly amazed at how accomedating this place was. The owner was so helpful and gave us whatever we needed. The servers and bartenders were so nice and the food......... Oh man!! My husband and I had veal picante and it literally melted in our mouths!!
