Let's get this straight: You stay here because it's cheap and is located in a very convenient area for easy driving access to many desirable areas in West LA. Don't walk around outside the hotel at night. Westwood Blvd is dangerous in that area ever sinceall the stores closed. Homeless sleep nearby too. The floor in my room was uneven in places, so I got vertigo while walking. The room is blah. The walls are a little thin and when it rains, it's slippery upstairs. Was a really great expierince. It is a very nice, clean, updated, non chain feel. Parking is a little tight, but it was a really nice place. Decorative, staff was friendly. Enjoyed the stay. Everything was spotless. My son and I stayed there and had a great time. I wpuld definitely recommend, especially if you want out of a typical chain, and a nice, clean decorative place.
I had a great stay at LA Sky Hotel. The location is perfect and close to all the main attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. Overall, it’s a great value for the price, and I’d definitely stay here again.
AC wasn't working. The front desk person pretended to see if it could be fixed. Eventually brought us a tower fan which was really useless and dirty. Apparently all the rooms were booked so no AC for the night. Didn't even offer couple bottles of water (which are $3 each to purchase!!!!). When we returned the key/card in the morning to complain... conveniently, no one was insight!
