I admit that the location, being literally behind our house, makes it easy to love La Ristra. But, that just makes it easy for me to have been often enough to say that the every dish on the menu is amazing. The staff is attentive and friendly. And, I recommend it to everyone who wants a fresh southwestern dinner experience.
I am obsessed with the green chili sliders! Always enjoy the family type welcoming atmosphere!
Definitely try the stuffed green chile sopaipillas they were absolutely delicious. Something off the chart...
Staff is amazing, very unique, salsa is one of the best I have ever had!
We went on Oct 12th for our anniversary and the service was absolutely amazing. The waiter had no idea it was our anniversary, but would have thought he knew with his attentiveness. The drinks were great and the food was delicious. The weekends can get pretty busy get there early. I had the carnitas and my husband had the carne asada. The different chile sauces vary in spicy so make sure to ask before you decide which one you want.
The owners and staff helped us make a special day for my niece Maegan Hanshaw for her bridal shower. The buffet and service was outstanding as usual. The banquet room was taken so we reserved the patio but they planned ahead for the heat and set us up in the back bar area which they made it beautiful for 25 people without blinking an eye for last minute changes. This is really a great place to eat and have fun. Especially on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00. Live music with Kevin Crum on open mic night.There is also live music every Friday and Saturday night (8:00 to 11:00) as well.Great food and great fun!!!
Well we went to La Ritra and had some guacamole and 4 margaritas listened to the band and when I went to pay for my tab I gave the waitress my bank card and she came back with somebody else's bank card and somebody else's tab when I brought it to her attention she told me that the other customers thet got my bank card had already left the restaurant and the manager said there's not much he can do about it. Really? Now I have no way to get cash or pay for anything because I have no bank card. What an inconvenience.
